Alabama WMU Website Redesigns

Redesigned websites for Alabama WMU and its camp, WorldSong Missions Place, built from scratch in-house.

Goal: Update the digital presence of Alabama WMU and its camp, WorldSong Missions Place, through a website redesign that better explains the work and more easily connects the audience to what is happening in the organization. For WorldSong, paint a better picture of the camp and make it easier to plan a visit and connect with its mission.

Process: Due to budget size and staff, instead of contracting the project out of the office, I built the entire website from scratch with the exception of changing the domain through WIX.

Results: WMU ladies of all ages across the state were grateful that the website more easily showed them how to engage with the ministries and curriculum of WMU. Almost no complaints were made about the change nor about difficulty navigating the website to what was needed. WorldSong board and visitors were thrilled with a more easily accessible website that helped connect people to the beauty and value of WorldSong Missions Place as demonstrated by website traffic doubling.
